Growing Your Greens – John Kohler shows us how to transplant a Japanese Aloe plant. The plant he demonstrates on has been in the pot way to long and has many babies. To get the most out of your Aloe plants you have to give them room to grow. The aloe is great to eat and John says the Japanese variety isn’t bitter. It can calm the stomach and is great for topical use as well. Having an aloe plant around is a great natural medicine and food source. I do recommend having at least one around the house. These are desert plants and don’t need much water.
